Senior Vice President & Managing Director
Jil runs HPN Meeting Services, and is continually pushing her team to focus on service, communication and partnership as the foundation of meeting planning. In 2009, she built the Preferred Vendor Network which is a partnership with key DMC’s, suppliers and transportation companies across the US, Mexico, Europe and Asia. She graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management and an Associate Hotel Management degree from the Hotel Consult Cesar Ritz in Le Bouveret, Switzerland.
Director of Meeting Services
Kiersten joined HPN in November 2015 as a Program Director and was promoted to Director
of Program Management in June of 2016. She works closely with Jil on managing the growing team, implementation of services, client sales and account management. Prior to joining the stellar HPN team, Kiersten worked for a DMC in both Scottsdale and San Diego where she gained extensive experience in sales, design & development and operations. She has a background in hospitality as a sales admin and convention services manager for different hotels.
Director of Housing & Registration
Brandee graduated from Northern Arizona University with her degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. She has been working in the industry for over 25 years, specializing in group housing management and convention services for 18 years. She has worked with all sizes of city-wide conventions, corporate meetings, associations and sporting groups, using her organization and customer service to exceed her client's expectations. She has been with HPN since July 2016, and manages a team with experience in Cvent, Passkey and other related platforms.
Angie Spearman, CMP
Global Account & Program Director
Angie joined HPN in 2005 and now is the Global Account & Program Director. She has been planning, marketing and executing successful events around the globe for over 20 years. Angie started her career overseas working on marketing campaigns, meeting technology, tradeshows, incentive programs and sales conferences. She graduated with a degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and has Certifications in Graphic Design and Multimedia from UCSD.
Candice Crossfield, CMP
Candice has been in the events industry for over 20 years. She is instrumental in planning successful meetings with large committees and boards as well as smaller incentive programs. Candice has a Bachelor's degree in Management from Georgia State University and is knowledgeable in email and social media marketing. Using her experience in hotel sales with the Ritz-Carlton, she is budget focused and a strong negotiator on behalf of her clients, decreasing their expenses overall by 3-5%.
Daphne Herrin, CMP
Daphne joined the hospitality industry over 25 years ago, starting on the supplier side with a focus in catering and sales. She gravitated into convention services, focused on enhancing her skillset to become one of the industry’s top meeting planners. Daphne broadened her knowledge within a large corporation where she managed, directed and trained a team of planners who were responsible for executing international sales meetings of all sizes. Daphne now enjoys working with all of her clients to strategize on creating amazing experiences for their meetings and events.
Sales & Program Director
Tosha joined HPN in 2018 as a Sales & Program Manager. Her experience in the industry began fifteen years ago planning real estate launch parties and movie premieres in Los Angeles. Before joining our team, she worked for seven years in the DMC world, two and a half years as an account executive for The Destination Manager, a Global DMC Partner, and for AZA Events as a Senior Program Manager for almost four years. Tosha brings extensive knowledge and resources to our team and clients.
Laura graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Retailing and Consumer Sciences and has been in the industry for over 10 years. She has experience in meeting management and event planning for corporate meetings, incentive markets and association markets. She has managed and implemented all elements of the pre-planning and on-site logistics involved in event and meeting planning. Laura has traveled all over the globe, both professionally and personally, having worked and managed programs all over North America and Europe.
Sales & Program Manager
Danielle worked in the event planning department at Florida Gulf Coast University 15 years ago, which opened up her eyes into the hospitality industry. After graduation, Danielle started working for various 3rd party meeting planning companies and traveling with them over the years. In 2011, her travels lead her to Scottsdale where she worked as Operations Manager for a DMC, which lead to an Account Executive role collectively for eight years. Danielle has chosen to return to the meeting planning industry by joining the HPN Meeting Services team.
Registration & Housing Manager
Lisa graduated with a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and has been in the hotel industry for the past 30 years. Her experience ranges from asset management in hotel real estate ventures, to the planning, coordination and execution of national and international events of all sizes. Her experience extends into online registration, as well as mobile event apps and onsite kiosk check-in. Her expertise in Attendee Management and ability to visualize events from the end-result backwards, ensures accurate information throughout the entirety of an event.
Registration & Housing Coordinator
Courtney joined HPN Global in 2017 as a Meeting Services Coordinator. She works with Brandee creating and managing housing and registration websites for various events, conventions, sporting groups and other associations. Courtney is experienced in registration and housing platforms such as Cvent, Passkey, Meetingplay and Streampoint. Prior to joining HPN, Courtney came from a hotel background where she gained experience in front office, sales and event administration, group housing and hotel sales.
Manager, DMC & Preferred Partners
Diva graduated from ASU with her BS in Tourism Management & Development, a certificate in Convention Sales & Event Planning and her Masters in Sustainable Tourism. She began working in 2011 at the AZ Office of Tourism as an Advertising Intern, then transitioned to a Sales Assistant at Visit Phoenix where she helped with meeting proposals, destination site visits and creating bid books. She joined HPN in October 2018 where she oversees all partner relationships around the globe, including searching, vetting and negotiating rates with prospective partners.
Creative Services Manager
Bree graduated from the Art Institute of Phoenix with her Bachelor's in Graphic Design. After graduation she moved to California and spent eight years working for a variety of companies as a junior designer and working her way into more senior and management roles. She moved back home to Arizona three years ago and was introduced to the hospitality industry, working as the sole designer at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale. She joined HPN in June 2019, transforming the company's brand image and strategy, taking HPN to the next level.
